same here. Thinking of bringing along the rest of my mead bottle, and maybe some swiss roll "yule logs" to add to the feast.

UPDATE: I went to wilko's today on the hunt for logs, on the understanding that wilko's sell everything. Apparently they don't. All I wanted was a bloody burning log. Gonna have to mish it to Morrison's now... damn you, wilko's. You've disappointed me.
Food situation: I bought a pizza which I am going to cook and cool on thursday and also some doritos and salsa dip. win.

Ian2, you are most clearly sent from the Gods.
Buy lots of mead, and if the society doesn't reimburse you, I bloody will!!!
EDIT: By the way people, possibility of jacket potatoes and suchlike cooked on the bonfire, so bring along a couple in tin foil (they sell them in Select n Save) and I'm sure they'll warm you up nicely down in the woods!

not sure if i can get hold of any more of the good lindisfarne stuff before thursday, but harvest mead shouldnt be a problem. Say... 3 more bottles at 3.99 each? cheap supermarket stuff, but quite drinkable.
