What changes and additions would people like to see this year... We are already looking into the feasibility of booking seminar rooms out to do workshops, thus insuring a more practical use of the society, but what else would you like to see?

Maybe more towards actually pagan things. for instance having things in the woods is all good and proper but maybe tarot reading and rune readings etc. or may discussions, not just drinking in the laundrette

Thus, I'd also personally like to to see a bit more focus on the practical and the theological - workshops etc such as suggested by Iain and Zaki, and discussions more usually focused on the nature of our varied theologies and magick/occult practice. Not that I'd want it to become too structured like a bible-study group or a lecture, and don't get me wrong, I love just bitching, chatting about random student-life related things, and non-euphemistically comparing swords with Matt 1, but I wonder if I'm not the only one who feels like he is perhaps practising a fundamentally community-based faith (as much of modern paganism, and the northern heathen traditions traditionally are) in a somewhat aimless and unguided solitary way.

Well the plan is to do more non-alcohol related socials, and on a side note, I don't think Tarot is pagan, certainly not originally, it's more like oeja boards, an invention, practised first by none pagans then later adopted as a pagan tool, but it is something we will be doing none the less.
The first social will be Friday evening in the chancellors building and will simply be an informal meet and greet, more details will follow.

On a side not: I did not say in anyway that Tarot was pagan. It is an occultist practice. I may have mentioned this in a latter sentance but admitedly any "pagan things" had skipped my mind. Too much drinking or tv I suppose. I apologise for the miswording. I had written the post and focussed the meaning crucially on the semantics.
