A sort of question aimed at the pagans, but what words and/or visualizations does everyone use when casting circles? Because I evaluated mine the other day (which I have been using since I was 12... ) and it just kind of seemed a bit silly for some reason.. your confuzzled sexual webmaster x

Well I dont generally use circles, but to banish and cleanse a place for the gods to join me for a pint...I mean sacrifice of blessed drink, I use something long and pointy (my staff last time I did, I do not have a real sword at the moment) to call the points of the compass and planes (above/below) whilst using the chant ''Sverd Helga ve thelta ok hindra alla Illska'' then when that is done i use this (variant depending on god/goddess)
''I consecrate and make holy to the service of Tyr this altar and place of sacrifice Banishing from it all influences which are unholy or impure. May our minds in this consecrated place be likewise devoted as is my will to the service of Tyr valiant and wise, as Heimdall guards bifrost bridge may this place be warded against all forces unharmonious to our purpose this day.''
I know its not really a circle, but still it is the warding and consecration of a place for use in a summoning (in this case the god Tyr)
