The "Summer Solstice," at Stonehenge this summer is a fantastic opportunity for the hard core pagans of this society to organise a trip. It gets a bit rowdy and you have to leave tents off site, but the drums and druids and general youthful energetic vibe make the trip well worth it. Its also a shame that its unlikely Stonehenge was ever used ritualistically during the Summer, but only winter solstice. That said, following stonehenge KUPOS could re-locate to Avesbury, we will have to speak to the Druids first and then they allow you access if they trust you. We are all heathens here, keeping the religion of our ancestors, so there will be no issues here. So, if theres enough interest somebody could hire a minibus, but it probably makes more sense to let people make their own way.
"Those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."- F. Nietzsche

That does sound awesome, although personally I think I'm going to try and go to Glastonbutry for the festivities. Some sort of meet-up would be good though, if people want to go to places on certain dates then exchange details and so on in this thread, yes?

To be honest guys stonehenge at Summer Solstice just gets over run by people taking LSD and pot. The Druids barely get a word in.
