Wish you'd written this in a readable font, Iain, being that its slightly important.
What do you enjoy/ not enjoy about the society?
I enjoy the events... big skinny dips and walks in the woods and such. And when we actually learn things, like the time Iain and Charlotte helped me with psychic awareness.
How would you run things differently?
I do think we as a committee can be terribly lax at times and I think we need to strengthen up a bit next year.
Are we too narrow focused on ritual paganism (or for the benifit of John: fluff)?
I feel so sometimes, but at the same time there's not an awful lot we can do if people in the society (bar me and the two Ians) aren't interested in John's brand of magic. Its one of those things, if suggestions came along as to how we could make it more inclusive I'd be more than happy, but at the moment it seems the piss ups at horwood, walks around the woodlands and big bonfires are the things that work best in the context of a society which is there to support and give a good time for pagans and occultists. I don't think we exclude, but I think we could be more inclusive.
What would you like to see us do next year, (events, one of socials etc.)
We need more one-off socials which teach people things - I loved the idea of proper education in tarot, or perhaps doing a group or guided meditation sometimes. I think we as a society gravitate more towards what will be more fun than what will help our members grow as pagans/occultists.
Now for the really important ones:
Best memory to take from the year?
Joe falling in the lake.
Also, Josh treading in the lake.
Karl putting his hand in sick and then incinerating it from the fire.
MEAD!
The pumpkin pinata when Dave clouted me round the head with a stick.
Yule in general.
Funniest moment?t.
JOE FALLING IN THE LAKE
LULZ.
